Ironman Boulder 70.3 – Pre-Race tips

We enlisted the help from professional triathlete Brad Seng to bring you tips for the Ironman Boulder 70.3.  Who better to give tips than someone who lives in Boulder and has raced the Boulder 70.3, right?

Things to do in Boulder:

 

Brad says there are numerous bike paths, trails and places to explore.  Some of the more popular sights include Boulder Falls, the Boulder Creek path which winds it way thru town and historic Chataqua Park.  The Pearl Street mall area is always a fun way to take in the local sights & sounds of Boulder

Celestrial Seasonings Tea factory has daily tours for something different to do.

Where to eat:

Pre-race:

Pasta Jay’s and The Gondolier  are two family-owned Italian restaurants in the colorful Peal Street pedestrian mall area.

Sherpa’s offers up unique Nepal dishes.  You can view their menu from their website.

Post-race:

Walnut Brewery for a good buffalo burger and house beer.

Pearl Street is loaded with all sorts of restaurants & street performers throughout the summer nights.
